PLANT PREPARATION FOR SHIPPING
Shipping time is variable each year, depending on our spring weather.
It can start as early as the first week in May or as late as the third week.
If you have Evergreen or Semi-Evengreen plants in your order, they are usually
a few weeks behind the dormants in the spring. They are not very 'pretty'
until they have grown out of the winter blahs.
Please keep this in mind if you need your order early.
Plants are dug, washed, dried and trimmed of excess leaves and roots
before packing. Plants with an equal balance of foliage and roots re-establish quickly,
growing new roots and foliage as it acclimatizes to its new location.
Please ensure you remember to keep your new plantings
of daylilies well watered for the first year.
SHIPPING - Mail Orders will be shipped via Canada Post Expedited Parcel.
Orders may be picked up in person to save on shipping.
Advance notice is necessary to have your order ready for you.
This method is popular for those within driving distance
as there are many excellent nurseries in the area.
If you prefer to have your plants shipped on a
specific date, please let me know when you place your order.
